This beer reminds me of Sleeman’s in terms of taste and packaging. It seems to be mid-way between craft and macro. A good lager, crisp, clean and slightly hoppy. It’s about 300 yen for a 500 ml and is the best of the macrobrews in Japan in my opinion.

50 cl can @ joes. Pale yellow colour, no head. Smells malts, grassy. Decent pilsener smell. Tastes malty, slightly watery, grassy. Decent beer, nothing special. Nice carbo, thin body.

Sampled from 50cl can thanks to Joes. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma is a bit weird but not in a bad way. Taste is lightly malts and a bit stale. Low body, low carbonation, thin texture.

Bottle: Poured a black with a tan to light brown head. Aroma is strong roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts and hint of chocolate, very smooth silky finish.

Bottle. A golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes bitter, malty, slightly hoppy and fruity. This is certainly no world beater but it went surprisingly well with Japanese cuisine.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light gold with a small white head. Very light bready aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is very clean - like barley flavored water. I can only imagine the hops. So this is more or less what our troops used to get. Poor bastards.
