Can. A brown beer with a bubbly brown head. The aroma has notes of metal, caramel, malt, and a bit of spice. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, straw, and metal, leading to a dry metallic finish. The body is light. Thanks Theis for sharing.

Can 35 cl. Courtesy of Theis. Pours an orangey brown with a dense and lacing off-white head with an excellent retention. Aroma is sweet roasted malts and a little licorice. Medium body, overripe dark fruits and some cough drops and molasses. Some odd phenols, but no real bitterness. 250610

Someone left this in my fridge so I figure what the hell, I’ll give it a shot. Pours clear golden color with white head. Grainy malt aroma. Bland, inoffensive flavor with some bitterness. Light body with crisp carbonation.

Can thanks to Sean! Poured a clear pale gold with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma had notes of corn, rice and a bit of light grain and crisp hops. Flavor was a bit sweet with rice, corn and grain. There was a bit of a pleasant crisp hop finish.

633 ml bottle. Slightly pale gold color. Very faint aroma, mostly of corn, a bit of malt. Flavor is sweet, clean, rather bland. Light body and refreshing, easy to drink, but nothing at all going on. Well, not nasty.

09/03 A 0.33 l bottle brought to Croatia from an Asian shop in Mitte, Berlin. Brewed in Kaliningrad. It poured golden body with small head. Some hay and grainy aroma, a little bit of rice don’t miss of course. Grainy and honey malt flavor, watery and thin bodied. Finish was shorter, with some herbal hop bitterness finally emerged. Still, it’s quite boring and typical pale lager, not so much in Asian style though.

Eh, ruining the chronological order of my rates because I can’t be bothered not to rate these beers tonight online while I’m tasting it now that I have internet again. 0.33l bottle brewed for Kirin Europe by PIT, Kaliningrad. A Japanese beer brewed under license in Russia for a German distributor. Cute. Pale golden colour, small white head, went away fast. Sweetish grainy nose mingling with somehow fresh grassy hop notes. Sweetish, alcohol-like sweaty taste. Odd fruity notes pop up from there. Some very light hoppiness, herbal-grainy, carrying some bitterness near the end. Meh.
