Medium white head; yellow body. Faint clean malty aroma. Taste is clean malts with delicate citric hoppy aftertaste. The hop profile is nice, and kind of makes the beer, but other than that there is hardly any taste to the beer at all. (0.33l bottle.)

660 ml bottle: straw colour with a white head, some hops in the aroma, full in the mouth with hops and malt, but a watery finish.

Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a white head. Sweet malty corn aroma. Sweet malty yeasty flavor. Sweet malty warming aftertaste. A little too strong and sweet.

Bottle. Very light in color, scent and taste. Low bitterness. Watery. I think it can work well with spicy indian food on hot summer days.

After watching the runners in Midnight Sun Marathon I had a couple of beers at Blå Rock Cafe in Tromsø. Do not really know the reason why the cafe has imported this beer, Aroma is hardly present at all and the flavours are killed by too lively carbonation. Some notes of sweetness, hops and malt can be spotted in the background. Smooth and watery. Two delicious pints of Deuchards made me forget this pale yellow lager.

750 ml Bottle Sainsbury’s Kidlington. This is a world apart from it’s usual curry house companion. Pours with a large white ice cream head and is golden in colour, sweet, malty and quite strong you can taste the alcohol lingering around there. This was much better than I expected though still not brilliant.

A hazy light orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet yeast combined with notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of yeast as well as a touch of wheat, the end is dry and yeasty combined with a delicate bitterness.

Interesting, even odd looking 0.33l bottle... hmm... why on Earth is this imported here ? I guess that the Indians here will be pleased. The both of them. Hrm. Anyway, pale yellow colour, small white head that disappeared instantly. Very fizzy initially. Blah. Nose that starts off sharp and skunky, but turns out to be a lame sourish malt/dust aroma. Wow. Taste... "smooth" (read: watery), some lemoniness, maybe just a bit of interesting fruity maltiness, but this is corn country. Some, erm, hops (maaaybe) can be felt too. Dust again ? Short lemony aftertaste. Reminds me a bit of Molson Canadian, only a tad more watery and a tad less corny. Could be worse, but it’s still bad.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours pilsener golden with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Malty aroma with a vague tartness. Medium-bodied and quite malty with some sweetness and an interesting and different lager flavour. Lightly bitter finish. 210506
