16 oz can from Tavour. Caramel colored pour, flat. Rye bread, plenty of sweetness, toffee. A little musty funk too, typical to rye.
Light peaty and smooth scotish ale, tastes like scotch soda and peat.

16 oz. Aroma is toasted marshmallow, caramel, toffee. Pours black with a one finger beige head that falls into a ring somewhat quickly. Taste is sweet with a light bitterness on the back end; finishes dry; flavors very much like toasted marshmallow.

16 oz can from Tavour. First crack of the can reveals big S'mores notes, marshmallow, chocolate and Graham. Near black pour, one finger beige head reduces to a small ring. Taste brings the added touch of fire roasted marshmallows, earthy, smoky, dark chocolate. Pretty damn close.

Love the spice notes, agree with their notion that Habaneros are delish. Pours dark copper color which was unexpected. Smells of malt. Spice kinda murders the beer notes though. Maybe why stouts usually pair best with spice. This is nice but mostly spice.

16 oz can from Tavour. Aroma is peppers, caramel, gun metal. Pours hazy amber with a one + finger beige head with great retention. Taste is sweet and spicy. Not really an IPA at all, unless they're considering it an English IPA. Tastes like a caramelly amber ale with lots of hot pepper heat (8/10 on a pepper heat scale). Nicely carbonated creamy mouthfeel, but it's a tad watery. Way more hot than the description up there describes, although it's not up there with Cave Creek or Stone's Crime or Punishment. Tasty shit for pepper beer fans.

From the start, this brew rocks. Hazy and light like a wit bier. Barely any yellow at all. Smell is habenaro nose. Then you smell a little pineapple in their. Taste is initially mild pineapple cider then the big heat sets in. Each slug is the same evolution. Not quite as hot as a pure habby but its hot and spicy none the less. Finish is tasty spicy heat and warming sensations all round. Such a good example of a cider, I really liked this cider version, thanks Dan, you rock! Crisp clean finish with heat that lasts about a half hour after yer done.

Clean fresh beer nose. No sign of IPA. It clear pale to the eye. Taste is strong ale and a little medicinal in its presentation. No sign of IPA in this, its simply strong american ale. Has a pretty good kick in the end. The gin aging must kill most of the IPA effects.

Big & dark. Nice lacing. Smells like whisky of course. That is what the overwhelming effect is, whisky. Yes, someplace in there is beer, and I think its porter, but its so whisky in yer face. Difficult to enjoy.

Mild soda pop aroma, pleasing. Looks like darker iced tea. First impression is mild whisky. Beer is faint and that whisky thing just wants to take over. Don't really care for whisky in my beer, thank you, but it is what it is and lots of beer tasters love it.
