Canned, 0.35l. Clear straw colow with thin white head and average visible carbonation. Aroma is of grainy malt, tastes of cereals left in the water for few days. Light body, thin texture and soft carbonation in palate. Miserable is way too soft to describe how bad it is...

Canned, 0.35l. Clear orange golden colorr with thin white head and lively bubbles. Aroma of orange, mangosteen and other tropical fruits. Taste starts with sweet tropical juice, followed by light alcohol note, mild spiciness, but still bland mouthfeel and certainly not bitter finish. Light body, sticky texture and lively carbonation in palate. Quite acceptable for that style, but still far from real beer...

Canned, 0.35l. Clear deep golden color with small frothy white head and average visible carbonation. Aroma is grassy, malt is weak, unfortunatelly some skunky smell is present, too. Taste starts with fresh malt, softened by adjuncts, then followed with grassy undertones. Although plain, some malt spiciness is felt in the mouthfeel, while finish is mildly bitter. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Same as others Tico beers, nothing special...

Bottled, 0.35l. Clear pale golden color with thin frothy white head and average visible carbonation. Aroma of grassy hops, hay and mild malt. Taste starts with mild malt and followed by light citrus notes. Mouthfeel is dry, while aftertaste is very mildly bitter with spicy undertones. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Nothing much imperial at it, just a thirst killer...

Canned, 0.35l. Clear dark brown color with medium frothy brownish head and average visible carbonation. Aroma of grassy hops, mildly toasted malt, light coffee and subtle chocolate. Taste starts with sweet toasted malt, then followed by mild caramel and finished with mild bitterness and some spiciness. Light to medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. It’s not the top-notch, but so far one of the best Costa Rican beers (I haven’t had such luck to come across Bri Bri and Cartago micro brews)...

Canned, 0.350l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and lively bubbles. Aroma of light malt, grains, grassy hops and some skunkiness. Taste starts refreshing grainy and with adjuncts, then followed with sour grassy hints. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while aftertaste is mildly bitter and somehow spicy. Light body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. My first Costa Rican encounters - in fact not that bad than some others...

(Bottle) Clear pale amber with no head. Aroma has citrus, vegetables and som skunkiness. Light bodied and fizzy. Flavour has some initial refreshing citrus notes, but s followed by grain / cereal and hints of something industrial like rubber. Overall it’s not good, but it is drinkable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the new Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks troubles. Clear yellow. Aroma of DMS, a bit of hay, a bit of malt and faint hoppy hints. Sweetish and grainy flavor with a slightly drier finish. Light-bodied and watery. Pretty clean.
