Corn, beans, and plastic aroma. Clear yellow, thin head. Corn flavor, with a light sweetness that doesn’t detract. Harsh mouthfeel. Costa Rica tick!

Can from Costa Rica. [Shared by Arve. Thanks!] Pours clear reddish brown with a small off-white head. Light aroma with hints of roasted malt and caramel. Sweet and watery, with a hint of raisins. Drinkable, but doesn’t taste much.

Can. Pours pale yellow with a small white head. Lightly skunky aroma of sweet malt. Sweet, watery and fruity with just a hint of bitterness. Fortunately it tastes slightly better than it smells.

Can from a friend. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, candy and fruits. Sweet and fruity pale lager, a bit thin, but no skunky flavours. Just a litte hint of bitterness in the finish. Pretty tasteless, but an OK lager.

12 fl oz bottle at the "Beso" tapas restaurant on Staten Island, on January 29, 2012.BB 30 jul 2012Clear straw yellow color (in candle light), fairly big white head. Fresh malty taste, though a bit bland. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet, malty, sugary scent.Fairly boring, but was a new country and a new rate, so :)

Bottle @ home. Costa Rica tick. Imperial (creative or ironic?) pours a golden, transparent appearance with a small, white head. A touch skunky, lightly fruity, quite sweet, pale malty aroma. Husky grainy, light but sweet pale malty, grassy hoppy, a touch citrusy flavor. Based on the layer of dust on the bottle, this had sat around for quite a while. Bleh.

12oz can from Khan poured into a shaker. Thanks buddy! Pours a clear pale gold with a thin ring of white head. Aroma of hops and straw. Taste is light bitter. Little hops, little skunk and a very light metallic taste. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, not bad. I would drink this over any full flavored BMC any day.
