Cask handpump at The Wild Boar, Warwick Saturday 6th August 2016 Pours light/mid gold, good clarity with a white head. I could almost use the rating for my previous Slaughterhouse Boar D’Eau beer for this, it’s not too dissimilar. I guess it is lighter in body, but like the Boar D’Eau it’s a pleasant beer in good condition, light fruitiness, decent enough beer. A6 A4 T6 P3 OV13 3.2

Cask handpump at The Wild Boar, Warwick Saturday 6th August 2016 Pours warm gold, good clarity with a white head. Soft mouthfeel, light fruitiness its a bit safe bit it’s certainly pleasant enough, in good condition as you’d expect from the brewery tap. A6 A4 T6 P3 OV13 3.2

Got the impression there was more yeast in this than there should have been.

Cask @ Star Inn, Huddersfield. Beer Festival ale. Hazed amber ale with a creamy head. Has s lightly stewed fruitiness in a fuller-bodied but fairly easy-drinking and smoothish textured ale.

Gravity cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a hazy straw colour with a whispy white head. The aroma is yeast, light acid citrus. The flavour is moderate sour with a yeast, acid, grainy mineral palate and lingering sour yeast finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty awful really. Not an ideal beer for a fest and not in great condition either. Poured most of it.
