Description
Lancaster Brewery is a multi-award-winning regional brewer of beautiful beers, born and brewed in the North West of England.
Our beer is available far and wide, in cask and in bottles in great pubs across the UK and as far afield as Latvia and China. Stockists also include supermarkets and off licenses regionally and nationally.
We do brewing properly. No fuss, no shortcuts, just proper old fashioned brewing using Freshly milled malt (milled on site the same day that we brew), whole-leaf hops and live yeast that, combined with our expertise, produces some of the best beer in the country.
Our purpose build brewery has been built to be sustainable with our power coming from solar panels on our roof and all our used malt going to feed local free range pigs. We take the environment and our local community seriously, hosting a series of festivals each year at our Brewery site in Lancaster for people to enjoy.

Flaske 0,5l fra Kilpishalli. Skibotn 8 Okt 11. Lys gylden. Gulskjær. Høyt kremaktig skum med en markert topp. Mye bobler på glasset. Svakt fruktig aroma. Litt mandler. Sammensatt fruktig smak. Aprikos i forgrunnen. Litt fersken. Smaken litt vassen med ei tydelig tørr avslutning. Godt butikkøl.

500ml bottle by the courtesy of Finn. Gets full score for its beautiful appearance, including the stylish bottle design. Decent off-white head, slowly declining, over a deep, rosewood coloured body. Good amount of lacework. Mid-sweet malty nose with a hint of dark fruits. Malty base to the taste buds, roasted and ashy dry, alongside notes of prunes and dark chocolate. Vague hints of lactose. Bittersweet malty ending. Soft in the mouth and easy-drinking. Not bad at all (Tromsø, 03.12.2011).

500ml bottle, many thanks to Finn. Fair, fluffy white head with fine retention, blanketing the glassware. Dark golden body with a slight haze. Mild aroma of bready malts and floral hops. Leafy and resin-like hops in flavour along with notes of honey. Discreet dry bitter tail. Foamy in the mouth. Satisfying and not diluted at all (at home on Friday eve, Tromsø 02.12.2011).

Bottle from Lake Forest in Folsom. Pours gold with a creamy bubbly head. Light floral/fruit aromas over a suggestion of malt. Maybe a little bready. Mild carb. Med minus body. Flavor is more floral than anything, but there’s some noble grassiness in the background. I’ve just eaten a carrot, and apparently that wipes out any malt notes. Or maybe there weren’t any. Pretty light in every way.
