A bit thin on the palate, with roasted malts, licorice, dried fruits and coffee in the flavor. Roasted finish. A quite decent one, typical English. Easy drinkable and tasteful. 100814

Bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen and Papsoe. A clear, amber beer with an off-white head. Malty and slightly bready nose with some citrusy hops. Toffee and fruity hops in the flavor, some bitterness and a hint of licorice. Medium to full body, semi-dry. The finish has caramel and some bitterness, and notes of licorice. Quite nice, especially like the licorice touch. 100814
