Poured from cask at Wellington, shared with Finn. A decent bubbly white head over a clear golden body. Dotted spots on the glass. Honey sweet fruity aroma. Taste of bread-like malts and honeyed fruits offset by a mild bitter ending. Just alright (Birmingham 21.09.2016).

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is grassy hop, citrus, light pine needle. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a fruity, creamy caramel, light pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

23rd Sep 2016: cask, gravity pour at the CAMRA Shrewsbury Beer Festival. Golden with a decent and lasting white crown. Hop centric with a tropical fruit nose, some healthy bitterness on the dry palate, especially towards the end of each sip. Liked it.

Cask handpump at the Derby Brewery Tap, Derby, Saturday 10th September 2016 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours clear gold, very good clarity with a sticky white head. A more strident bitter beer than my Kiwi IPA, dry and with a raspy bitter bite, clean, zippy beer. Thoroughly enjoyed this. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Cask handpump from the Derby Brewery Tap, Derby, Saturday 10th September 2016 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Hazy gold with a slim white head atop, middling bitterness, light fruity beer, actually I am being a tad unkind itโs fine, a straightforward forward golden with a light hoppy bite. Cask handpull at the Tap, Derby. Amber/red with a small, thin, off-white head resting on top. Gentle aroma: a touch of berry with fusty malt. Sweet malty taste with some grainy savoury notes. Medium to long finish, with Horlicks and marzipan in the aftertaste. An odd little beer, certainly drinkable but far from perfect.
