Description
Located in the Finistère region, the Brasserie de Bretagne (formerly Brasserie Britt) has existed since 1998 and brews Breton craft beers. It is distinguished by the creation of “innovative” beers such as Britt Rosée and event beers such as Britt with Special Sochi Vodka or even Britt Do Brasil. Production (in hl per year): 72,000. Other brands are Ar-men, Dremmwel and Sann Erwan.
It is in the coastal town of Concarneau that we develop our recipes in an 8,500 m2 workshop, combining quality raw materials with the mastery of our know-how, inspired by a rich artisanal tradition.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk on a train. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. Grapefruit lemon aroma. Some resin i suppose. Light bitterness on the finish. some sweetness. Decent enough. I liked the fruit and hop.

33cl bottle from some French supermarket. Poured a slightly hazy medium to light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is gluey malt, hay, light fruit, light hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a dry malt, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Lightly hazy a bit pale golden color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, a bit floral, dried grass and a light bitterness. Decent body and carbonation. Mwah.

0.33l bottle from leclerc in strasbourg (britt beer set). pours a deep reddish amber with a frothy head and some sediment. aroma of dried fruits, cranberries, candy, caramel, grains. flavour of cranberries, blood orange, grains. rather sour and not too sweet for a fruit beer.

Flesje op 17-8 gedeeld door Benzai en Kermis. Roodbruin troebel bier met wit schuim. Aroma is rokerig. Smaak is zoet, fruitig en rokerig. Jammer dat de smaak snel wegebt.

Bottle @ home shared with kermis and Inoven. Quite hazy reddish color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly smoke, smoked malts in the distance, a light bitterness to it. Ok beer.
