Bottled (BB 07/2006)
Ruby red color, good tan head. Very light aroma of malts and fruits plus some spices (ginger?). Medium-bodied. Quite sweet sugary flavor with some harsh maltyness. Alcohol is hidden quite well, only picks up in the finish. Quite straightforward sweet beer, not very ale like - more like sweet vienna.

Bottled. Copper in color with a beige small head. Not much aroma, but some pleasant sweetness and spicyness can be found. There is more to the flavor, with sweetness, malt, some alcohol and a sweet chocolate hint. Spices towards the finish, which has some bitterness. Sticky and maybe a little too fizzy mouthfeel. Bottled. Brown beer with a tan head. Roasted malt and sour bonfire-smoke in aroma. Flavor is roasted with coffee and alcohol. Full body with bitter finish. Rating: 3-3-6-4-15-3.1. 051104

Bottle. A clear, dark reddish brown beer topped by a dense, beige head of moderate size. Roasted, almost burnt aroma with toffee, dried fruits and some butterscotch. It’s quite sweet on the palate, with roasted notes, some toffee and a touch of bitterness. Medium body, pleasant carbonation but it’s too sweetish. Overall, not as good as I remembered it, but it’s drinkable. 120405
