(Bottle 33 cl) Pretty, reddish amber (unfortunately with the typical Vestfyen colourants added) with a decent, creamy head. Notes of roasted malt and nuts. Slightly watery but overall a pleasant, small ale. 081102

(Bottle 33 cl) Very pale (although with added colour!!) with a decent head. Extremely thin bodied pretty much without both aroma and flavor - only the weakest possible bitterness in the finish. We’re talking Corona territory here. 220201

(Bottle 33 cl) I never seize to wonder why these "hvidtøl" labels have to be this ugly and primitively naive. As if it’s only produced for fools. This is close to being the worst. Malty and roasted without much fullness in the body. Completely lacking the cloying sweetness so often found in this style - thank God. No bitterness though, but overall a decent brew. 040300

(Bottle 33 cl) Vestfyen promises a lot with a name like "Danish Pride". Pilsener golden, very limited head. Has the typical soft, low carbonated touch that is so typical of Vestfyen. Strong alcohol flavour - only a glimpse of hops. Sweetish, but no worse than other super strong lagers. 220100

(Bottle 33 cl) As "Vestfyen Sneugle Julebryg". Rather pale golden - very close to pilsener in colour. No head, no aroma and only a weak hint of some malt. Somewhat metallic edge. A poor Christmas beer. 091299
