Hammerton Brewery originally began brewing in London in 1868. Sadly it ceased to brew in the late 1950s and was later demolished. In 2014, a member of the Hammerton family decided to resurrect the family name in brewing. It also brings brewing back to Islington, a London borough with a great beer making heritage.

Keg at Brewdog Ealing, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, malty, chocolate, caramel, fudge aroma and taste. A pleasant tasting stout.

Keg at Brewdog Doghouse Edinburgh. Pours black with a thin ring of beige head. Aromas of chocolate and toffee. Taste is nutty and sweet. Sweet finish.

33cl can, BB 12/2025.
Noire, brune foncée, col crémeux blanc-cassé tenace.
Arôme rend bien le caractère de peanut butter - effet cacahuètes délicat sans tomber dans le surfait, le tout avec une délicate note lactose. Retrait de malt caramel, chocolaté fin, grillé.
Palais sur un léger effet grillé - belle présence de peanut butter - douceur un peu lactose tout en ayant le côté plus épais de cacahuète. Sèche avec une fine amertume en fin de bouche - houblonné noble et un léger fini sur les fruits noirs.

A real revelation. Nice roasted grain body with fresh citrus and earthy hops, a dash of pepper and some dark berries. Lovely balance, refreshing and innovative.

Keg at Waterloo Tap - clear golden. Thick foamy white head. Aroma combines doughy malts and light citrus and stone fruit. Flavourwise it has a dry bitterness. Light-mediu gooseberry . Low-key malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Slightly chalky. Very dry lll, long and slightly astringent finish. Overly polite and ultimately bland as a result.
Ootasin, et ei ole pastry.. maitseb nagupastry. Magus, vaadine, pähklivõine, vaniljene, suhkrune, alkone (arvestades väidetavat abv-d, lausa mega alkone). See maitseb nagu teeb purju.. ok, aga ootasin midagi muud.

On tap at Low Key Taproom Ashford. Cloudy gold old gold colour lasting white head. Decent west coast flavour. Lacks the bitterness some toffee. Ok
