Pigs Ear. Cask. Cloudy gold beer, residual white head. Palate is light and semi dry with mild fine carbonation. Light pale malts, touch of soap. Trace of floralness and a whisper of citrus. Light finish. Not terrible but cask lagers and pils are banana skins and this one has slipped as so many have before it.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Hazy amber beer, few pale cream colour bubbles. Palate is light and semi dry with mild fine carbonation. Smooth and mellow pale malts. Light pine, light citrus. Bitterness kicks in before the light finish. Mild bitter linger. Easy going and drinkable IPA.

Bottle shared. Pours hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma is big vinous upfront, wine barrels coming out strong, oak, grapes, light fruits and funk. Flavour is light moderate sweet and over light acidic. Over medium bodied with light carbonation. Closer to wine than beer.

Bottle shared at the Scopey 5K tasting. Thanks to C-Train for slinging the Italian beers. Pours hazy gold with a white froth topping. The nose has nips of plastic citrus, melon. Light sweet flavor with aggressive bitterness, spicy pine, anise. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly rindy to finish, fairly bitter, with more spicy pine notes. So so.
