Bottle. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a bottle filled as much as this, there were no room at all over the beer. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma is on the hoppy side, piney and grassy with some fruityness, not much room left for the malts. The maltyness is more evident in the aroma, building a backdrop for the bitterness and piney, fruity hop flavors. Medium body, dry and pleasantly carbonated. Bitter finish. A quite nice one, although a bit too bitter compared to what else is detectable in the beer. 120623

Bottle from La Cave à Bulles. It pours cloudy amber, with a bubbly off-white head, which quickly dissipated. The nose is varnish, resin, sticky sweetness and tangy raisin. The taste is caramel, residual sweetness, brown bread, spice, wood, varnish and tangy dark fruit (raisin, fig etc), with a dry, warming finish. No good.

Cloudy light brown beer. Bib bubbly white head. Sherbet orange cream soda with an odd, but not unpleasant, medicinal streak. Finishes frothy and dry. Unusual and tasty.

draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft Brussels.
