Draught
aka Herengracht 90 Rivk
Hazy nut brown, small creamy brown head. Lemony nose. Flowery leafy hoppy, British bitter like flavor. Quite weak, more sweetish than bitter, so not enough hops to qualify as a bitter :) Easy to drink, easy to forget.

Dark brown, little dark brown head. Sweet and alcoholic nose, some cloves. Bitterish, leafy character with some cloying, but not sweet... Malts, slightly plywood-like flavour. Well bodied, sturdy, slick MF. But it is technically very good. Seems to be brewed at 3 Horne by Marcel Snater. But origins can vary.

Draught Faintly hazy orange; little or no head. Sweet, faint spicey-peppery nose. Dull grainy taste, just a bit of citrus but not refreshing. Sticky MF, and a bit empty to boot. Uninteresting amber ale. Nothing wrong, nothing uplifting. Which makes it fit the bill of Proefbrouwerij admirably, where it is probably brewed.

(! The version I drank yesterday at Arendsnest was brewed at De Prael, NOT at 3 Horne) Full hazy yellow-ornage, huge white fluffy head. Citrus nose, very outspoken, maybe touch of coriander too. The beer is so dry that it is really neutral - again just a vague citrus aroma. The palate, however, becomes more malty. VERY dry. And a bit light, I'm afraid, but the maltiness in the palate starts to fill it in. Very (too) carbonated). In general, my comment on the mouthfeel says it all.

A dark orange unclear beer, with a white head. The aroma is fruity and spicy with notes of corriander and pears. The flavor is sweet malty and spicy with notes of bread, oranges, and corriander.

Dark muddy amber; some gushing to huge creamy head, quite stable and lacy. Chalk, alcohol, toffee, caramel or caramelised sugars constitute the nose. Taste is that of roasted and burnt malts. If there's hop, the burnt malts overwhelm it to a nasty bitterness. Fruity and more sweet malts underneath. Pretty full bodied, alcoholburn. Aftertaste keeps dominated by the burnt malts. I can't concurr with the other tasters. If only it were IPA-like bitterness!

Cloudy orange color, medium lasting rocky head. Aroma is orange, fruity, fresh, bit malty. Very refreshing taste, sirupy and dry palate, which reminded me slightly of the Orval.

Extremely cloudy orange/beige color. Initially enormous frothy and rocky head, long lasting. Quite typical german hefeweizen, aroma is decent spicy hefe, but a lot of yeasty presence in aroma and taste. Weak palate.

Hazy amber. No head. Spicy nose, cloves, ginger. Fruity-spicy taste, cloves and gooseberry or sweet kiwi. Ginger retronasal. Very light body, watery texture. Good try. Arend is a brewery-hirer. This batch was brewed at De Fryske.
