Description
Bathams have become a family born to brew, with the sixth generation now involved in creating and serving a legendary beer of the Black Country.
Bathams Bitter, regarded by some as one of the finest in the country, would never have been if it was not for the pernickety tastebuds of pub regulars in a quiet Worcestershire village, and the brewing skills of Mr D.B.A (Arthur) Batham.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear deep brown with medium beige head. The aroma is earthy, toasted nut, earthy, wood, leather and a touch of caramel. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, earthy roast, leather, wood, toasted nut and earth with a dry finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Not much depth, but drinks easy. OK.

Rocky white head soon left a cover on a opaque light golden, effervescent body. Fruity aroma - peach & orange. Medium body feel, smooth on the tongue, tingly on the back. Crisp & clean. Very fruity to the fore, with orange & peach & very slightly malty, bitter back.
