Description
First of all, Belgian beers have an edge on everyone else, just by being historically rooted in a centuries-old tradition of quality ingredients and a passion for brewing a balanced bouquet of flavours.

Belgium isn’t the biggest place on the map, but if it’s premium beers you’re looking for, this is definitely the best place to be. Great taste from a small country.

Gigant taps into these powerful traditions to take beer into the new now, with an innovative approach to surprising ingredients, creating a sophisticated, cosmopolitan palate.

28 August 2021. At Bier van Ollier Festival, Sijsele. Cheers to Anke, mom, dad & Dirk!

Hazy orange, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of banana peel, orange, apricot, pepper, clove, vague dill. Taste has sweet banana, orange & apple, spicy clove accents, herbal too, bit wheaty over a yeasty, bready-honey malty base. Floral hoppy finish, wheaty & minerally, in balance with the stylewise expected spices & yellow fruits. Hidden alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Classic Tripel with a twist; clean, correct.

Hazy ochre, small, off-white head. Aroma of mango, orange juice, tangerine peel, lychee, white grape. Taste has sweet mango & orange, sourish citrus zest, yeasty, bit acidic. Floral hoppy finish with zesty grapefruit & bitter citrus peel. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Very nice, excellent play between yeast and hops.

Clear amber, stable, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of biscuit, red apple, red grape, caramel, raisin. Taste has sweet apple, orange & grape over caramelly maltiness, bit syrupy, leaning towards 'Fanta' even, but balanced by a herbal hoppy bittereness & orange peel; though red fruit & yeast linger into the finish. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Interesting & enjoyable starting beer by this new brewery.
