Description
At Bitburger, the pure pleasure of Pilsner-style beer has a long family tradition. Since the founding of our brewery in 1817, we have dedicated ourselves fully to the quality and taste of our products. Today, seven generations and almost 200 years later, Bitburger is still in family hands – but the small business of two centuries ago has become one of the biggest breweries in Germany, and the number one player in the draught beer market. We owe the success of our company first and foremost to our employees, who bring real passion to their work for the company. For us, a sense of social responsibility is simply part of what we do. Bitburger also supports many charitable and community projects, and promotes cultural and sporting events.

Typisch alkoholfrei schmeckt auch dieses Bier lasch und zu mild im Mittelteil. Der Nachgeschmack dagegen ist zwar zu erkennen, allerdings mehr im negativen. Lieber n Wasser als n alkfreies. Test vom 15.3.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,7,5,9,6 - 6,35

Clear metallic gold; good whitish head, collapsing. Coffeecream, faint hops, herbal. Very dry, herbal taste, slight sweetness underneath for an instant, then hoppy, later harsh metallic bitterness. Harsh metallic bitter finish overwhelms everything. Dry and rather light bodied. For a nablab, it ranks amongst the better ones. But if I had to drink this on a regular base...

Pour is a bright clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is faint but i do get some malts. Flavor is malty and crisp. Not offensive or poor but it is weaker than most pils. Tries in every way to be pilsner urquili but it is a step below.

Golden pils with a fresh cereal aroma. Crisp dry beer, with sharp malts, clean taste, lightly chalky notes, and full of cereals in mouth. Very good pils!

Can (BB 10/2005)
Yellow with decent foamy white head. Not much aroma: slightly sharp hoppy. Good bitter hops in a palate with long bitter aftertaste. Plain but balanced, Urquell type of pilsener.

Clear yellow color, short white head. Aroma of a german pilsener, hoppy and grainy. Bitter taste, quite like a normal Bitburger. Very nice for a NA beer.

Very malty aroma - primarily of corn and honey. Looks like a beer. Flavor of sour grain - decent carbonation. One of the best non-alcoholic brews out there but still doesn’t really taste like a regular beer. (bottle)

Bottle. Creamy barley malt and grass hops aroma. Golden yellow with a moderate head. Creamy malt flavor with a light grass hops finish. Probably the most reliable German pils that is available worldwide (along with Warsteiner).

The aroma is sour as if it has been brewed on brewing cereal - or is it the lack of alcohol that does it? The color is light yellow and it has no head. The flavor is like the aroma. A poor beer - even for a low alcohol.

Presentation: 355mL brown bottle; freshness code that's undecypherable to me appears on back. Appearance: light golden, no head. Smell: a bit grassy, but smooth and appealing. Nice taste... Has a good bitter twang. A bit thin in the mouth, but really not bad. I think this would make a great session beer. I actually enjoy it more at room temperature.
