Description
At Bitburger, the pure pleasure of Pilsner-style beer has a long family tradition. Since the founding of our brewery in 1817, we have dedicated ourselves fully to the quality and taste of our products. Today, seven generations and almost 200 years later, Bitburger is still in family hands – but the small business of two centuries ago has become one of the biggest breweries in Germany, and the number one player in the draught beer market. We owe the success of our company first and foremost to our employees, who bring real passion to their work for the company. For us, a sense of social responsibility is simply part of what we do. Bitburger also supports many charitable and community projects, and promotes cultural and sporting events.

Clear yellow/amber pour with a stable white head. Aromas of malt, lemon, marmalade. Taste is similar. Wellrounded - quite a decent bock.

Canned 500ml. -from local Kaufland. Brewver somehow managed to lose my rate about this one, so second rate is by my memory. Darker cola coloured, small airy brownish head that went away fast, caramel in the nose. Caramel, cardboard, sugary and moderate carbonation.

Finding this beer at the PAM, Haute-Nendaz. Drinking it yesterday after a wonderful walk in this magical autumn. Expecting something worst, average and classical German pils, good after 5 hours walking, malty, bready, dry and bitter, mineral.

24 September 2025. At Bitburger Bierhaus Bad Münstereifel. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: clear golden, small, foamy, off-white head.
A: wet grain, straw, grass, bread crust.
T: sweetish grain, old bread, dust, straw.
F: soft grassy hops, grain, yeast.
P: light body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Recognisable profile, but the beer is just not that good.
