650mL bottle, pours a cloudy, near-opaque amber-ish orange with a large lingering white head. Nose is very hoppy for a hef, with all kinds of citrus hops, grass, and a little pot -- not really getting much hef quality here, maybe a touch of clove. Flavour reveals lots of weed- / pot-like hops, with some pronounced grassiness and banana-ish fruity esters. Very hoppy and well-rounded. An excellent off-style hoppy hef.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of pineapple, grass, and sweet malts. Flavors of bitter citrus, dried apricots, fresh hops and a bit of trail mix with vegetal hints. Long bitter finish. Really different and interesting.

Bottle - Bright grassy and weedy hops. Cloudy orange with a rich white head. Sweet and weedy, little bit of fruit and a vegative bitterness in the finish. Different and I must say I like it alot.

Bottle from 16th Street Liquor, West Vancouver, bottled 03.25.13, too old
Hazy brown color with medium sized head. Light malt aroma. Lean body, lightly sweet caramel flavor and very low bitterness.
Rather boring.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Bright golden-amber color. Distinctive manure smell. Very dry, it seems to have a nice malt profile, but the bitterness in the final, chicory, is really unpleasant and covers it.
Needs tuning.

Pours a blood red with hues of pink. Flavors of port, oak, raspberry, black cherries. Very satisfying but a bomber was a bit much

Bottle from Taylor. Thanks! Shared @ Belgian Autumn Gathering 2014. Amber colour, white foam. Sweet fruity nose of peach, honey and brown sugar. Strange bitter taste. Not bad but a bit unbalanced.

Reddish brown colour, beige head. Aroma of red fruits, thinner, caramel and chocolate. Quite alcoholic flavour, rather sweet. Sweet finish, alcohol, thinner. Did I mention sweet? Same vintage as the one @ RBESG London, but not nearly as nice.
(From 65cL bottle @ TAGFKARM, Gent 2014. 2012 vintage. Thanks for sharing, JefVerstraete!)

Thank you JefVerstraete! 2012 Vintage. Tasting glass from 650 ml. bottle consumed @ “The Tasting formerly known as Mons RBBAG I (2014)”. Reddish brown, little tanned head. Nose is too boozy with lots of varnish oak. Taste is thick sweet sugar, exotic sugar with lots of plastic, thick varnish, boozy, marzipan, lots of alcohol, heavy on varnish, amarena cherries,… Little carbonation, sugar body. This doesn’t feel right. It drinks still but why all the varnish etc.
