Description
WestBrew is located at the westcoast of Denmark. We focus on brewing small batches of beer that are based on local ingredients and authentic craftsmanship throughout the process.

When the beer is brewed it's gently matured for a longer period on steeltanks or reused oak barrels.

Note: Between 2019 and mid-2023 located at Ho Bugt Vej 17, 6852, Billum.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Hazy amber, small head. Aroma of grapefruit peels. Dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Piney grapefruit and bread. Mid bitter finish. Quite elegant.

[ As West Brew Wadden Sea ].
ABV: 6.2%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, moderate hoppy, citrus, leather, farmyard, grapes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, rubber, farmyard, funky, pale malt - wheat, citrus, grapes, damp stain - fusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. [20211003]

Bottle, 5.3% as West Brew Brown Ale. Slow gusher. Roasted and bready aroma. Dark brown colour. Seems hazy. The head is fifty at first, but forms a stable creamy light brown head after a while. Roasted flavour, mild coffee notes.

37.5cl bottle from a trade with fonefan, thanks. A clear amber beer with a small beige lacing. Aroma of caramelized and reddish malt. Taste of caramelized malt, red malt, some red fruits, wood.

Bottle from Kvickly, Middelfart. Only 7.4 % ABV according to the bottle label. Light hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and light wood. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 270721
