440ml can from Bier Huis. Gluten Free. Hazy golden colour, big foamy white head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, hops. Taste is sweet, malt, grain, caramel, with juicy fruits, citrusy, and some hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small but tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thinnish bodied pale malts, a pleasant light creamy sweetness. Smooth mild cooling pine. Well, Krush and Superdelic are natural bedfellows. Decent stone fruits under a mild but pleasing mango. SuperDee berry fruits, a little candy. Airy finish brings a mild hop spice. Tidy brew.

Can. Just a mild haze on this rich colored good beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, modest fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a sticky ripe sweetness. Marmalade hops with accompanying citric peel bitterness. Semi dry semi viscous finish brings a modest hop spice. Quite viscous and very west coast. In that context, about as good as you would expect.

Cats Eyes were developed by Percy Shaw, who's road feature earned him in recent times a Wetherspoon pub (now no longer part of the chain) named after him in the Yorkshire town of Halifax. This was drank about 7 miles away from there, a good-looking session pale, healthy cask texture and mild stone fruit.

Can. Bier Huis Ossett. Birthday gift from the missus. Hazed lemon yellow gold. Thick whipped egg white swede. Nose has lemon pith and peel. Bit of orange squash. Light chalky mineral character. Taste is fairly dry and lightly bitter. Light body. Bit soda water-ish with its high carbonation. Short finish. Ok at the lowly ABV.

Clove (instantly) bitter, weed & lemon tastes with a zesty finish.
