Bottle shared by dad, brought from holiday. Dark amber brownish color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly roasty, some raisins and caramel with a subtle bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation. Well, pretty surprised by this one. Normally I don’t like beers from this style but this one is quite nice.

Nice slightly bubbly longlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, light malts, paper, hay, cereal, hints of nuts and popcorn. Taste is slightly dry grainy, light malts, paper, hay, minerals, cereal. Little bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Boring.

Dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig, würzig, leicht metallisch, hopfig.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks troubles. Clear pale golden. Vegetal aroma with DMS and some cardboard. Sweetish flavor with cardboard, some DMS and a bitterish finish. Light-bodied.

Squat little 33cl swing top bottle pours with a crystal clear copper body that supports a light tan head of foam the leaves behind spotty lacing. The aroma offers up sweet malts, a bit of caramel malts and then a sliver of sweet breadiness. Behind those notes are sweet and slightly earthy dark fruity esters like cherries and prunes. The taste begins with sweet malts and caramel malts and a dash of roasted malts before cherry and prune like sweet fruity esters surface. There are lingering malts and caramel malts heading out into the after taste. Nice Landbier.

Squat little 33cl swing top bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a bright white head that leaves behind spotty lacing. Good looking beer. The mild aroma offers up some pilsner malts and a light spicy hoppiness. The taste has a pleasing hoppy spiciness to it to go along with a mix of floral hops and smooth maltiness. The hops have both bitterness and a nice flavor as well. I get only a faint fruity ester note but this beer mostly delivers a fresh hoppiness and smooth slightly grainy maltiness. I like it.

Squat little 33cl swing top bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a bright white head that leaves behind spotty lacing. Good looking beer. The mild aroma offers up a light metallic note as well as subtle floral and herbal and spicy hops. The taste begins with spicy hops that have a bit of grapefruit and are largely bitter and tart. To midway the malty base is noticed helping to bring this to a closure as well. Pretty nice albeit a bit sharp and bitter.

750ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of yellow drupes, a mineral touch. Taste is dry, minimally fruity, hints of yellow drupes, minimally grassy, a mineral touch. Pretty far from complex, flat, boring, obsolete.
