Bottle. Clear dark gold featuring a very tiny and short-lived white head. Aroma of malts, honey and juniper. Taste of malts, herbs, lemons, juniper, honey and alcohol. Low to moderate bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Not really that sophisticated but I sort of enjoyed it anyway.

Bottle. Clear dark gold with a tiny and very short-lived white head. Aroma of roses, honey and malts. Taste of roses, grains, roses, malts, roses and honey. Low bitterness. Low carbonation bordering on „wait a minute there is something deeply wrong with this one“. Ok. Roses are red, hops are green, they don’t really go that well together if you know what I am saying.

Bottle. Clear dark amber featuring a very small white head. Aroma of caramel, honey, booze, stewed fruits and a little bit of vanilla. Taste of honey, malts, herb, marzipan, caramel, vanilla, malt lozenges and hints of lemons. Moderate bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Alcohol is comparatively well hidden. Quite nice for a Detmolder actually.

Draft @ the brewery. Just minimally cloudy yellow/gold with a nice white head. Aroma and taste of grains, straw, a little bit of lemons, bread, malts and protein. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. The brewery tour is fun, very thirst-quenching and overall highly recommended. Now if only their beers were as lovely as the people working there….

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orange golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy, pale malty, minimally doughy yeasty and grassy hoppy aroma, a touch of flax, minimally soapy overtones. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy and minimally mineral, clean, pale malty basis with subtle residual sweetness, a minimally grassy touch as well. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Very clean, drinkable, nice mouthfeel - unspectacular.

Bottle. Clear dark orange with just a small white head. Aroma of mainly peaches. Taste of peaches, wheat and sparkling wine. Pretty sweet. Low bitterness. Strong carbonation. I was always kind afraid of trying this but I’m glad I finally did. While it doesn’t really give off any beer vibes it’s an enjoyable drink and allegedly and actually a certified crowd pleaser (especially if the crowd in question doesn’t care that much about beer).

0.33 l bottle from 'Trinkgut Knurra', best before February 2024. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, moderately floral and a little grassy aroma of grains, some honey and light straw. Slightly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a little floral taste of grains, straw, some vanilla and a touch of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little watery finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation.
