Slightly unclear deep amber colour, good rather loose creamy beige head, dissipating slowly, patchy lacing. Aroma sweet malt, caramel, candy sugar, fruity notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, spicy and earthy notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, earthy notes, nice.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy copper with a nice white head. Mild aroma of malts, caramel and herbal hops. Taste follows aroma plus grains, a hint of sweetness and stale bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Doesn't have much of what I seek and like in a Kellerbier. Not recommended.

Cake dough aroma with a touch of roasted malt. Brilliant flavor: chocolate, raisin, malt, cake dough, coffee and even licorice. Both taste and complex, very likeable beer. Just a bit more body and this would be a 4+ beer.
