Pours pale golden with almost perfect clarity. Average white head, decent retention and little lacing. Very classic helles aroma, not too deep or lively: hay, light grassy/herbal hints, a hint of honey. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, again with not too much intensity, but most of all with a bit too much sweetness in finish and aftertaste. Still, very much acceptable. Overall taste profile: medium sweetness, quite low bitterness. Light to medium body, with average carbonation (surely more carbonated than your average franconian lager). Overall decent, but not at all a well refined beer, especially in the carbonation part: while not especially high, it feels way more coarse and burpy than a good lager.

Bottle from Beer Zoo, Dunbar. Appearance - deep chestnut brown with a beige head. Nose - toffee, nuts and general praline. Taste - chewy toffee and nuts. Just a hint of raisin. Palate - medium bodied, chewy texture. Lightly sweet finish. Overall - a bit deeper than expected from a Landbier and can see why it has ben put into Dunkel / Tmavy style. Good.

Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy deep copper/brown pour, one finger frothy off-white head. Medium lasting, slight lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, grainy and grassy notes, light sour touch. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Soft mouthfeel and texture, smooth and easily drinkable. Balanced taste, bitter with light sourness. Aroma of malts and grains, grass, some earthy notes. Bready, light herbal spiciness, dried fruits, hints of citrus zest. Short lasting finish, slightly dry. Good thirst quencher.

50cl bottle. A clear deep amber beer with a off-white head. Aroma of smoked caramelized malt, bacon. Taste of caramlized malt, nuts, mild smoked malt, some bacon, moderate bitterness.
Barva tmave medena az hneda, lehce zakalena. Pena stredne vysoka, spise min trvanliva. Vune kvasnicova, maselna. Chut sladova, nizsi horkost, trochu maslicka, trochu hutne kyselosti do chlebova. Suchy konec. Kazdopadne zajimavy kousek, takovy chleba s maslem. Nicmene favorit to asi nebude.
