22 year old pull from the cellar served at refrigeration temp but allowed to slowly warm in the glass. No carbonation mostly clear black color with faint ruby highlights. Molasses Prune and raisin with hints of soy and dusty cocoa. Light oxidized vinous notes. This beer held up really well for its age!

Hand pulled half pint in my local Spoons on 16th December 2025. Red hue to the amber body, off white crust on top. Malty, fruity and slightly herbal nose, taste similar.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A pale chestnut coloured pour with a loose cream head; malty aroma; creamy in the mouth with some fruity malts; then a nutty finish. Festival pint at Golden Bee pub in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England. Cask pour. It pours a pitch black color with a small beige head and excellent retention. Excellent lacing. Very mild dark caramel and light coffee aroma. The flavor is very mild. No caramel notes. Super smooth and clean. This is a mild stout overall. The flavor's not super special, but the cask conditioning is super smooth, clean, and creamy. It's a medium-heavy body and low carbonation. Almost no bitterness. Great texture.

Old rating - A 500ml bottle from Tuckers Malting in Newton Stewart. Pours a hazy amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, fruits & flora. Dry bitter finish. Enjoyable.
