Description
Since 1996, our brewing philosophy has been quite simple – to brew memorable, well balanced and flavourful beers, regardless of the style.
From light and crisp, to malt forward and smooth, all the way to loaded with hops… each of our brews are crafted using 100% malted barley, the finest hops, water and yeast.
Founded in Kelowna, BC, now brewing in our expanded facility with Big Rock Brewery in North Vancouver’s Brewery Creek district, drop by if you’re in the neighbourhood and we’ll show you first hand how we make great beer.

Black color, medium sized brownish head. Some aroma of roasted malt followed by nice fruitiness. Dark caramel and roasted malt flavor, then coffee; there is some sweetness appearing in the end; strong hopping.
Bold and zesty.

Bouteille 650ml.

650 ml bottle. Pours a deep copper color with medium head that settles quickly. Aromas of lavender, old leather, and malts. Flavors are similar with a thin whiskey flavor and buttery oaked notes. Quite flat.

(650mL bottle from LCBO) Poured dark copper with a slight haze and a tan head. Aroma caramel-heavy with a bit of spicebox and nuttiness. Flavour dominated by brown sugar, maple syrup, slight rasin and a bit of nutty bitterness to dry it down on the finish. Finish neither very bitter nor cloying, but brief. Palate somewhat oily, moderate carb for the style, alcohol came through as it warmed. Kind of bland and sugary, lacked the malt complexity of a good doppelbock.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy amber / bronze with a medium white head. Aroma of pure espresso, not much else, certainly no hops detectable. Flavour brings out moderate espresso upfront, obscuring the hop character which very faded and far back. Tastes quite fresh, with the espresso dominating. As always with this bizarre combination of coffee and IPA, the coffee tends to outdo the hops. Solid stuff though for what it is.

Beautiful amber color, hazy, with creamy head. Nice aroma of a coffee bag. The mouthfeel is rather dry. The flavor is just similar to a mug of coffee, and it’s beery just in its carbonation and enhanced bitterness.
Good beer. Maybe drinking it before bedtime was not a good idea…

650mL bottle, pours a clear orange amber with a small white head. Aroma of light whiskey barrels, dry caramel and corn - smells like a highly adjuncted lager. Flavour is very bland, with no hint of the whiskey barrels, corn, and other adjuncts - what the hell is this. This is being sold as some sophisticated barrel aged amber, but tastes more like a pop lager. This is crap.
