Description
Since 1996, our brewing philosophy has been quite simple – to brew memorable, well balanced and flavourful beers, regardless of the style.
From light and crisp, to malt forward and smooth, all the way to loaded with hops… each of our brews are crafted using 100% malted barley, the finest hops, water and yeast.
Founded in Kelowna, BC, now brewing in our expanded facility with Big Rock Brewery in North Vancouver’s Brewery Creek district, drop by if you’re in the neighbourhood and we’ll show you first hand how we make great beer.

Can. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, hops, and some malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and a bit of spices, leading to a quite bitter finish. The body is thin. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Can 50 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is very fruity with a little caramel. Medium body, dusty roasted malts and again fruity. Rather subdued bitterness. Quite quaffable. 030410

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks David C. Almost clear amber color. Aroma of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, light ginger notes, some fruits, yeast and alcohol notes. Very spicy and rather dry flavor with clove, some nutmeg, light malt sweetness, toffee and butter hints. Medium-bodied.

At a tasting, small stable head, hazy plum red colour, aroma of cinamon nutmeg and prunes, strong malty flavour with some light spiciness, mellow bitterness and a touch of alcohol. Nice experience, love to try others of this kind.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy dark orange/brown with a tiny white head. Moderately strong aroma of civtrus hops, very juicy fruits and a decent caramel malt backing. Flavour is very juicy and very astringent, with loads of juicy oranges, resinous and citrus hops, and a thin caramel malt backbone. Very high astringency, a bit too much, as this is off-balance. Still, enjoyable hop bomb.

Pours dark brown with a reddish tinge. Flavour of roasted malts, caramel and light hop notes. Underrated.

Dark brown, thin head. Chocolate and raspberries...sweet and malty and dessert-like. The body has this character...a bit thin but otherwise fruity and chocolatey...not bad but just needs a bit more residual sugar to pump up the body.

bottle, thanks Savvy1982! Pours dark carmel with a medium off white head. Aroma is a rather mild mix of cannabis, pine, hay, and crushed peanuts. Flavor is huge sweet malts, both bready and nutty with some alcohol, metal, and huge hop finish of pine and citrus. Extremely dry finish.

bottle thanks to Savvy1982! Pours a rich carmel with a medium off white head. Aroma is nice, fairly mellow for an IPA, but nice. Notes of pine, cascade and rich bready malts. One of the best IPA’s flavor wise that I’ve had. There is such a great balance in this beer. Not only do the hops shine and keep this tasting dry and bitter, but the malt is huge and is such a nice complement. There are sweet carmel and almond notes with a slight metallic note with lots of fresh hop flavor in the finish. Top notch!

Dark brown and a bit muddy-looking. Heavy cinnamon aroma with some vague earthy malts and a whiff of alcohol. Big spicy flavour, earthy malts and a hint of brown sugar. Spicy finish. The spice is a bit rough - not well integrated - but the malt complexity and full body in part make for that.
