Weekly cask offering at Tree Brewing Institute. The aroma is funky cheese and malt, has okay foam on a muddy light brown body. Flavour is vague chewy malts and soft cereal. Mouthfeel is full but a little cloying. This is an extraordinarily unmemorable ESB, it seems correct but is ever so mediocrely executed.

Smells of very weak malt, vanilla maybe if I snort it (and I nearly did trying to smell something). Has a muddy brown body with minimal foam. Flavour is soft chocolate milk, cola notes, nothing else. Mouthfeel is dry enough. It's boring but vaguely serviceable.

Smells of soft banana and pineapple, has cloudy yellow body with minimal foam. Flavour is nice banana, bubble gum, soft pineapple. Mouthfeel is full and chewy. Original review text: Foggy yellow body and modest foam, strong sweet pineapple on the nose and some nice mellow wheat dough. There's good lineaplple pie character herez lots of sugar, more vague wheat notes. Still it's rather fake, but that might not matter much on a hot summer day.

Smells of soft piney hops, has modest foam on a murky orangey gold body. Flavour is weak hops and nothing else. Mouthfeel is way too watery for something like this. It seems like a macro attempt at the style that is subpar on every level.

Smells of soft barley with vague coffee, has bad foam on a muddy brown body. Flavour is weak barley with modest caramel. Mouthfeel is watery and weak. Nothing to see here, incredibly mediocre.

A golden weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light pineapples, OK. In mouth, sweet banana bread with light pineapples, light oxidation, boring. Bottle from lcbo, 2015.

Vanilla and random christmas spices. Like most winter ales but with vanilla. Murky red colour. Good head. Light oak finish. Tap at brewery.

473 ml can.pours a turbid hazy pink with little head. Aromas of creasote, burn rubber, and dry herbal raspberries. Just awful... Flavors of lemon wax, industrial cleaner and hints of candied raspberries. Not a good rendition. Picked up at a BCLS store. Does anyone there sample first?

On draft at the brewpub in Kelowna BC. Pours an opaque cola with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and raspberry. Flavors are moderately sweet. Body is fairly light but the flavors are robust.
