500 ml bottle. A cloudy dark orange body with a thin off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt and floral hops. Flavor is quite light and refreshing with caramel malt, moderate bitterness for an IPA and some fruit. Medium body and some bitterness in aftertaste. Nothing special, but no faults and otherwise rather pleasant thirst quencher.

500 ml bottle. Pale, slightly unclear yellow/golden body with moderate sized off-white head. Aroma is totally dominated by ginger. Flavor is sweet with lots of ginger, not room for much more here. I really like the flavor of ginger, but this is simply to one-dimensional.

500 ml bottle. Almost clear, pale amber body with a small off-white head. Weak aroma with fruit, berries, plum, bred and a hint of acidity. Flavor is weak malt, harsh bitterness, metallic and slightly sour. Thin body and unpleasant harsh aftertaste. Not good at all.

500ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington covered market. Hazy orange amber colour, thin white head with alittle lacing, and aroma is fruity, malt. Taste is sweetish watermelon, malt and a slightly peachy, citrus bitterness. Medium bodied, fairly smooth mouthfeel, dry bitter finish. Quite OK IPA.

500 ml bottle from Doorstep Brew. BB MAY 13, sampled on January 14, 2013.Clear golden color, smallish white head. Sweet, ginger, lemon juice, lemonade scent. Sweet, lemon, weak taste. Lemon aftertaste. Rather weak mouthfeel, low bitterness.Really not my kind of thing this one, not terribly bad in taste as a lemonade, but it is indeed not something I’d like to drink much more of or even consider much of a beer, sort of reminds me of a German Radler. Goes hazy to cloudy with the last pour with sediment.

Bottle at JF tasting, 29/12/12. Light black with a thin tan head that clears to the edge and leaves a film atop the glass. Nose is roast malt, dark chocolate, molasses, tar, leather. Taste follows nose, chocolate, light hops, touch of pine, molasses, milk chocolate. Medium bodied, a little over spritzy but not too overcooked to detract from the feel, roasty finish. Was impressed by this badger !

500 ml bottle from Dorrstep Brew. BB MAY13, also marked "12070". SAmpled on December 21, 2012.Hazy copperoxide to brown color, smallish tan head. Malty, grains, sweet, raisin, nutty, some berries scent. Malty, dry, hrash bitter taste. Bitter and some sort of fudge, also a sharp ash like character aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high very dry bitterness. Also grapefruit and grape peel bitter taste and aftertaste, mixed with dry husky malt bitterenss.
