Keg at the Bartender, Dundalk, 25/02/22. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, light charr, mellow roast. Taste carries a hint of coffee, mellow roast, chocolate sprinkle, sweet nalt base. Medium bodied, soft mqssaging nitro feel, light drying close. Not bad for a macro ... touch on the sweet side.

Golden coloured, with a slight haze, a tiny bubbly white head and sweetish apples on the nose. Well carbonated, sweet apple taste, with a side of funky tartness going on

3/12/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours clear very pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet apple juice, vanilla, flowers, apple pie, caramel, touch of marzipan. Medium plus sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, low carbonation. Slightly mucky finish. Quite liked it.

Can, barely able to try as MrsSHIG really likes this one and brought it back for herself more than me: Poured a carbonated golden with bubbles and white head. Aroma is sweet apple. Taste is more of that carbonations, sweet, apple, some peels in the finish that break up the sweetness.

Half way to hefenbrüder. This is as bland as bland can be. If you look the definition of blandness from dictionary you will find this. I don't think it's the place I think it's the beer. Not offensive thou, so Irish.

Keg at Dockray Hall, Penrith. Tastes of watery economy apple juice. Maybe just a waft of apple skin. Sweetish and a little bland. Sits somewhere between the old mass market industrial ciders (eg Strongbow) and the newer mass market pretend craft ciders (eg Stowford Press, Cornish Gold), both in terms of taste and quality. As a result it's not great, but it's not totally horrible either.
