Can. Nice microfoam head with excellent duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, licorice and hops. Smooth and creamy.

Aroma is barley and a bit of saddle leather. Looks plenty dark, but still a bit of light shining through, and the head is a little less dense than I’m used to seeing in these creamy stouts. Flavour is spicy barley and alcohol, no complexity. Palate is a bit watery. But it’s enjoyable, good for a session beer.

A serviceable, malt-forward red ale. This beer pours a transparent reddish-amber with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma is mostly caramel malt with some lightly toasted bread notes mixed in. There are also traces of smoke way in the background. The taste is relatively sweet, fairly water. Less intensity in the mouth than the nose. The feel starts smooth and almost good but it gets very thin and watery after the initial sensation. I’m not entirely sure what differentiates this beer from a (mediocre) Scottish Ale. It’s not hard to drink, but I’m bored after only a couple sips.

Almost black beer with medium, beautiful and beige head. Aroma is roasted, liquirice, coffee and some sweetness; nice and surprisingly rich and full aroma. Very smooth and quite light flavour, roastiness and coffee. Flavour is lighter and simplier than aroma. Very nice and smooth stout, flavour is slightly too simple but still it is "enough"; good beer with low alc.%.

Bottle. Pours muddy brown, mostly clear, with a moderate, creamy white head. Malty aroma with some caramel and toffee. Flavor is pretty sweet with good malt character and some mild hops to balance. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Perhaps a touch syrupy. Finishes with decent bitterness, some lingering sweet maltiness and even some hints of smoke. Some very faint hints of chocolate in the back of the throat. Also has surprisingly good lacing. There might be a bit of a "macro" feel to this beer, but overall it isn’t terrible.
