Draft Portland Brewfest. Copper/ lightly clear amber color. Thin white head with low carbonation. Nose is lots of fresh citrus hops. Some juicy hops upfront, followed by malt. Bitterness gets a bit more progressive as you drink it. Medium bodied. Good bitterness although a bit abrasive after a while. Resin shows up as it gets warm.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of lukaduke. Thanks! Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a foamy, tan head and nice lacing. Toasty malty, candy sugar, orange/grapefruit citrusy, cotton candy aroma. Kind of thick, a bit sugary moth feel. Toasty, a touch burnt malty, grapefruit, a little resiny hoppy, light caramel, a bit chewy flavor. Pretty unique and kind of hard to pinpoint how much I enjoy it, though I did finish the bottle pretty quickly.

Courtesy of my buddy kiefdog. Thanks Kevin! It pours murky copper to opaque looking grapefruit juice holding up a thin white head of foam. The aroma is full of mango, grapefruit, tangelo, floral hops and orange cream cycle. Cool. The taste delivers bitter grapefruit to tangelo citrus and then slightly malt sweetened mango. These notes go together oh so well. Yummy IPA that is fresh crisp and pretty darn sessionable.

pitch black color. Floral notes hits you hard and then some smokiness underneath. Interesting nose. The mouth starts hoppy and the becomes big smoke lots of bitterness. Moderately bitter finish. I think it is a well made beer, but just don’t think a smoked black ipa can work. Not bad at all but wouldn’t have again
