Bottle thanks to a generous trader. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Flavor has dark grains with a bit of roast with backing sweet bourbon. Flavor starts with roasted malts and a hint of salty meat backed by sweet bourbon.

Bomber from Porterhouse. Nose is chocolate, coffee, and hints of smoke with some minor background fruitiness. Black with a medium cinnamon tan head. Flavor is lightly bitter with light sweetnes balancing it, lots of chocolate some roasty coffee, and a smoky note.

Draft @ Novare Res Bier Café. Lightly cloudy yellow this some decent head and lace. Nose of citrus hops, spice. Taste is much the same with a quality rye note in the background. A good hop profile that complaint’s the rye. It’s very much like a hoppy APA with a rye character. I would drink this again and I may pick-up a bottle in the near future. Not sure if it is at all the same in a bottle but I’ll give it a try.

Bomber from porterhouse! Thanks Kevin! Nose is cocoa, caramel (maybe a 3 Muskateers bar), and light sweetness. Heavily hazed copper with a big, long-lasting, heavy lacing beige head. Flavor is moderately bitter, with hints of caramel, pine, and some contrasting sweetness. Finish is lightly bitter.

Copper color. Bubbly thick full head that dies down after a few minutes. Spotty lacing. Low carbonation. Nose is light malt, not much else. Taste is grain, bread and mild hop finish. Light body, easy drinking brew. A nice summer brew but I would choose another from this style.

22 oz. bottle shared with LiteWait. Pitch black with thick, full beige head with big bubbles. Laced the snifter well. Aroma is smokiness, chocolate and malt. The nose is a bit strange, I don’t think I would call it rubber. Kind of like a new tire smell. Odd for sure. Taste has a strong wheat base that mirrors the aroma. Finish has the smokiness with a hint of dark fruit or cherry hiding in the background. Good amount of drinkability. I got this Bottle at Tully’s Beer and Wine in Wells, ME
