Nøtter. Røyk. Litt tørr etter hvert. Avslutter med sjokolade & lakris. Utmerket øl med velintegrert alkohol.

(Can, 0.473 l, from Alko, 20170124) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, molasses, fruit juice and metal. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, caramel, grass, molasses berries and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. An excessively sweet brew with messy notes.

Shared can at local tasting, ABV 9%. Cloudy golden colour, white head. Aroma of stale orange marmalade and grain. The flavour is fairly sweet, very bitter and unbalanced. Not something I would buy again.

Fra boks på RBHD-treff ombord på Fridtjofen jan-17: lett uklar kobbergylden med flott skum. Lett uklar oransjegylden med ok skum. Snev av muggen appelsinmarmelade, i tillegg til rå malt, kornblanding, brøddeig og råtnende gress. Smaken er desverre bare maginalt bedre. Merkelige greier til en amerikanske imp. ipa å være, og slett ikke god å drikke.

Shared can at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 21.01.17. Hazy orange. White head. Umpleasant aroma of raw grains, flour, dough and rotting oranges. Slightly better taste, with orange marmalande and malt. Unfortunately still with raw grains. Meh!

Draught @ Fairbar. Pours dark golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, light bread, rye, light hops. Flavor is sweet, malt, caramel, bread, rye, fruity hops, light citrus, alcohol. Medium to full body, average carbonation, light bitter finish with some alcohol warmth. 210117

Very big and long lasting white head with good foam. Golden amber. Mild aroma has grapefruit, white malts, yeast and some flowers. Taste has white malts, light grapefruit, flowers. A bit watery. Not refreshing, also bitter is missing. Medium body and carbonation.
