Sample from a can at William's share. Pours clear, orange, with lots of bubbles. The aroma is hay, lemon, caramel, pine, and wet grass. Sweet and syrupy. Not that tart. Light body, with an acidic, kinda thick, mouthfeel. Fun and herbal.

From a 16 oz can. Pours a clear gold with a fine white head. Aroma of pine and grains. Flavors are bitter pine and citrus peel with a hint of malt sweetness. Okay.

Decent oatmeal stout, a bit anemic around the edges but with enough charred malt and java notes to stay drinkable. Mild nutty tones sit atop unsweetened chocolate and coffee, with a modest hop bitterness balancing out any minor sweet notes. Metallic undertones show up on the back end, as do hints of coffee cherries and anise. Chocolate and char on the nose. Pours a deep dark brown with a brief tan head and modest lacing. A bit overcarbonated and prickly for an oatmeal stout. Okay, but it's fairly easy to find better these days.

Can pour into tulip glass from The City, Plaistow NH. Appearance is mildly hazy light orange with no sparkle, 1/2-finger width fizzy white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is floral, citrus, dank resin and malt backbone. Taste is mango, fruit, light candied sugar, mild dank resin. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, slightly foamy texture, mildest pleasant alcohol warmth, lively carbonation and more sweet than bitter finish. Overall, some nice complexity but a smidge too much sugary sweetness.

12 oz. can. Best before 2018 on the bottom of the can. Almost clear gold color, thin lasting head. Aroma is lacto, sour lemons, and sulfur. Flavor is mildly sour with some lacto. Finish has sulfur and hints of salt. Watery in texture. Kettle sours are hit or miss for me personally. This one is not offensive but there's not a whole lot to it either.

12oz can. Nowhere on the can does it specify American Wild Ale. Filtered orange-tan body. Thin white head. Medium bodied, pleasantly tart. Pretty enjoyable offering. Not a lot of depth, but that suits the style fine.
