12 oz bottle-pours a foamy dissipating tan head and deep amber color. Aroma is medium/dark malt-caramel, banana/clove, spicy hops, which doesn’t quite balance, medium fruit. Taste is wheat/medium/dark malt-caramel, spicy/wood hops, medium fruit-cherry, alcohol, some yeast. Better at cellar temperature vs cold. Ok carbonation.

Bottle. Nice raspberry taste, but it overpowers the wheat and well... the beer. More like a raspberry soda.

Bottle (big thanks to Jonas !) Almost clear, copper coloured, small, slowly collapsing off-white head impressive mix of resinous, herbal-hoppy aromas, sweet dark malt and dried fruit in the nose; almost dryish solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering dry bitter finish, accompanied by herbal hops and dry fruits. Superb stuff, very well balanced, very well hidden alcohol........

Muddy brown color with green hue. Light aroma. Good malt and caramel flavor, with light chestnuts, light tannins; the alcohol is quite evident. Low bitterness. I like Barley Wines, but this one is not impressive.

Cloudy dark amber color. It’s a liquor version of a Weizenbock, sweet, thick, very good.

Deep blond color. Very nice hoppy aroma, having both the crispy malt, perfumy hops and fruitness. Good mouthfeel, some sweetness, cood malt and caramel flavor, with a touch of fudge; good hopping, a bit fruity too. I would compare it to Jämtlands Hell: sweeter, fruiter and less bitter. Very good.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of markgugs. Clear, warm, amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity nose. Full-bodied, some roasted maltiness and fruit - also both notes of dried and overripe fruit. The finish is quite alcoholic without much hoppiness. 311007

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear hazzlenut brown with a diminished off-white head. Nutty and fruity aroma, slight metallic. Sweet malty with a note of chocolate and a liqourice edge in the finish. Ends with a slight woody note and a minor bitterness and with a sharpness from the fruits.

Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Dark brown beer, probably clear, except for some sediments in the bottle, and with a minimal, beige head. Coffee, some mocha and roasted malt in the aroma, with some hops in the background. Sweet, roasted, coffeeish flavor, and a roasted and slightly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is a bit thin for an imperial stout, but that only makes it more drinkable. A bit ordinary for an imperial stout, but certainly not bad. (071005)

Pale, slightly cloudy orange..a little white foam and some nice bubbles....smells of yeast, citrus, and some spice...light with a nice bulk to the body...some spice and orange flavor...good, but wouldn’t want it all the time

Darkest brown, looks black with a toffee colored head....soft spacious bubbles....aroma---malty chocolate, mocha, and chocolate ice cream....palate---first sip cold, crisp and smooth then changes to a sticky malty substance, nice lingering flavors....taste---coffee...toffee...brown sugar......a nice bedtime brew, makes me want peanut butter(another time)..."Sticky lips I lick, the suds drizzle, nice and thick, but thin enough that its not too tough, to drink this brew through and through"--J.F.
