Description
LOC Brewery brews quirky, craft beers that are a voyage of discovery for the taste senses. It is our ambition to conquer the world with this. LOC Brewery wants to experiment with flavours, herbs, fruit and even let beers mature in wooden barrels.

LOC Brewery is an initiative of Roy Maas (he left in 2018), Erwin Schellekens, Daniel Tano and Paul Cools. The four know each other because their children were in the same class, so they met in the schoolyard. In December 2014, LOC Brewery started brewing small amounts of beer. Since then, brewing has accelerated to meet the demand from tastings and events. The first beer was launched in June 2015.

330ml bottle, from RW80. Many thanks. Pours cloudy orange, very lively with an immediately huge white head. Aroma is fresh citrus, lime, lemon and pithy zest. Taste is Nelson Sauvin with citrus, orange zest, some floral notes and a moderate bitter tingle. Not bad.

Sampled @ Nederlands Speciaalbier Festival, Den Bosch 2016. Hazy yellow color, huge full icy white head that lasts forever. Smell and taste wheat, hops, there’s truly some milkshake flavor in there, a bit sweetish at first with a soft bitter hint in the finish. Decent body and carbonation. Quite pleasant.

Tap @ nsf16. Hazy yellow to orange with a very firm white head they added with an ice cream machine. Smells hoppy, fruity, fresh. The head tastes kinda nasty though. Like very watery icecream. Beer itself is nice though. Hops and fruit mostly. Medium body, nice carbo.
