On tap at Borefts ’16. Stated in the booklet as Bakunin Komendantskij Chas - Curfew. Black colour, beige head. Aroma is sweet, molasses, chili / jalapeno, green pepper, quite hot in the nose. Flavour is sweet, molasses, hot, pepper, roasted malts, light throat-burn, bittersweet. Medium bodied. Not bad actually.

On tap at Borefts ’16. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roast, leather, light Brett funk, wood, brandy, quite hot, red wine. Flavour is very alcoholic at first, brandy, wood, light leathery, Brett, red wine, roasted malts, gets better and better when it warms up a bit. Medium bodied. Nice, tasty.

On tap at Borefts ’16. Golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of spicy paprika powder (the Hungarian stuff), light floral malts, light hoppy. Flavour is spicy paprika powder from start to finish, relatively hot. Not bad though. Light bodied.

Small sample from tap @BBF ’16. Black color. Beige head. Aroma’s of roast, coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet, with some heat. Alcohol feel seems strong, but it might be the pepper burn. Heavy body. Finish is hot/spicy, chocolate, moderate bitter.

Thank you for sharing BE & friends RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 2. Deep bright red. Nose is interesting jelly beans, faintly mineral. Taste is mellow bland sour, quite empty, metallic, fruit isn’t really there. Empty, metallic body. Not too crazy about this one. Empty, metallic.

Thank you for sharing BE & friends RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 2. Deep amber. Nose is mellow pine hops, nice resin with herbal pine, pleasing mellow pine resin USA hops. Taste is nice pine resin hops, nice mellow chili burn, grapefruit peel, pleasant balanced chili. Body is nice hops & chili. Good chili IPA.

Thank you for sharing BE & friends RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 2. Quite dark amber, little head. Nose is thick malty sugar, low herbal, grainy, malts. Taste is pleasant thick mats, low herbal, sugar, hay, low bitterness, low cheesy hops, bit cheesy. Decent. Body is decent malty, bit cheesy. Cantillon Iris Grand Cru is the only beer truly to the 1516 Reinheitsgebot – I know what these guys meant saying that.
