Good ipa, as usual from this country, never disappointed until now. Savouring it on saturday, coming back from Paris, rich ipa, smooth and floral, oat, malt, wheat, generous tropical note of mango, passion fruit, citrus and bitter, hazy, something else, 08.05.23

This can is coming from the sterk, Amsterdam, opening it yesterday, at Epalinges after to come back from the Vaudoise arena. As usual, I was not disappointed with the Russians craft beers, smooth and subtle black ipa, rather dry, smooth malt, a bit roasty, 04.03.23

Deciding to open this can, yesterday, inside, at night after a day of work, sharing it with my wife. As usual a good Russian ipa, classical, subtle, dry and smooth, mineral, floral and aromatic hop, subtle touch of pine tree, light and powerful, 03.07.23, at Epalinges and finding it from the sterk during a trip, in july 2022.

Perfect can, yesterday, at the balcony, before to sleep a right neipa, becoming better at the final, herbal, peachy, note of lychee, passion fruity, syrupy, sweet and smooth, floral hop, strong bitterness, as usual good job, 31.05.2024, at Epalinges.

Old rating from 20-07-15 - On tap at meat heaven restaurant Chuck, pours a deep black colour with a small brownish head. Aromas of roasted nut & malt. Tastes of dark chocolate, deep roast, and liquorice. Feel is very good with very little carbonation. Overall a very good stout.

Old rating from 20-07-15 - On tap at restaurant Chuck, pours a golden colour with aromas of malt & yeast. The taste of the hops come though nicely as well as a slight citrus. Feel is of a great beer that I could not help but have a second of!

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - pours black with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with chocolate, some coffee, caramel, treacle, charred brown sugar, burnt malty accents, vanilla caress into the close.

I’m admittedly a sucker for big DIPAs that are full of resinous piney and honey-biscuity notes. This is one such beer so you do the math.

Bottle. Pours deep, clear golden with huge, everlasting white head. Nose is pleasant citrusy hoppy with a grassy hint. In taste it follows, and then turn to a moderate, “lagery” malty character. Light bodied, easy to drink. The carbonation is a bit flat and could be tuned up a bit, but this one is quite a pleasant IPL nevertheless.

Can at home. Pours murky pink with white head and some sediment, ugh. Nose is some raspberries, sweet notes, no trace of coconut. Taste is raspberries, somewhat stronger than in aroma, perhaps a super faint coconut touch, and I think there’s lactose in there too. Barely sour, almost sweet. Closes with fruity finish, has light body and soft carbo. Are all pastry sours just sweet and barely tart fruit beers?:(
