500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Bourbon BA-enriched caramel malty aroma, hints of toffee, caramel, some vanilla, oak, a minimally peaty touch, whiffs of alcohol and disinfectant. Taste is sweet-ish, dark and caramel malty, slightly vinous fruity, slightly boozy, notes of toffee, caramel, Marsala, dark honey. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, creamy, minimally cloying palate, lingering sweet-ish Marsala finish. Not bad.

16/4/2020. Bottle from Beer Republic online store. 4.7% abv. Pours clear amber with a pink tint and a short lasting white head. Aroma dominated by tart raspberry with slight woody, floral and citrus edge. Quite heavy sour, light sweetness. Light body, sight oily and watery texture, and a spritzy carbonation. Nice long tart finish with a slight salty edge. Enjoyable.

Can picked up from, Beer Republic, Breda, Netherlands and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Saturday 4th April 2020 on day 17 of lockdown. Sat outside listening to Balthazar - Fever and getting ready to cook Indo Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken and also Chicken Tikka Masala, all prepared now. Pours amber with a white head, sticky head. Quite sweet, thick in the mouth, fumes come down the mouth, amazingly despite the sweetness (it's a beast of a beer) it finishes a little dry. Good, could do with something extra.

From either my wife or her sister, can't remember no more: this is the new 13% alcohol version canned November 11, 2019. In any case, it pours black with a beige head. Aroma is vanilla, pastry, cocoa, jam. Taste is pretty sweet. Loads of chocolate and syrup (of some sort) (maybe a jelly...). Thick and large. Sort of metallic taste which is a tad off. Otherwise this is good.

Fairly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, green weeds and herbal hops. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
