500 ml bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Bottled in January 2016. Hazy amber orange with less than a finger of beige head. Aromas of tart cherries, cherry juice, subtle wood and smoke. Tastes of tart cherries, subtle smoke, some lemon and tart acidic notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Nice cherry flavor.

Bottle shared. Thanks Jay! Black with cola-like carbonation. Slight Belgian farmhouse nose with baker’s chocolate. Cola-like mouthfeel with some spices. Chalky on the finish. Interesting drop. --- Beer merged from original tick of Smuttlabs: Nótt Dark Farmhouse Ale on 03 May 2016 at 16:55 - Score: 6. Original review text: Light saison nose. Dark chocolate. Chalky. Not bad. One dimensional.

Bottle shared at tasting. Thanks Jay! Lightly smoked nose with some peach and apricot notes as well as it warms. The smoke is really faint. More peach, some cherry. Average carbonation, not overly sweet and fairly dry. Light body. Not bad.

Pours clear gold into a beaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Brett and lemon aromas. Crisp with sweet marshmallow and aspirin upfront turning to lemon zest before the dry, abrupt finish.

Tap at Bud. Rather dirty smoky nose, some cherry, some wheat. A bit off-putting. Flavor is much nicer, with more cherry, less smoke, nice tartness level. Pretty brown with orange tints. Strange but likable.
