Tasting at ChrisO’s. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Light crisp palate. Crispy minerals. Bittersweet dark malt. The dark malt is quite mild but has a cherry sweetness. Finishes dry with a touch of hop. Not bad.

Cask at the Reading Beer Festival 2012. Pours dark gold with a moderate, foamy head. Light berries in the nose, some lemon and orange. Light to medium sweet flavor, juicy with lightly ripened citrus, definitely some orange, lightly toasted grass, some straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sticky finish, some toasty hay, citrus rind and peppery hops, light corn. Nice.

Tasting at ChrisOs. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate is light and a little dry. Sweetish malt. Generic fruits (not readily identifiable as pumpkin). A little piney hop in good balance. Finishes semi dry with a slightly earthy bitterness. Interesting.

Bottle at Chriso Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting, 31/03/13 thanks to Craig. Clear chestnut brown with a small frothy beige head. Nose is dark toffee, barley, woody notes, smoke, touch of whisky. Taste comprises dark caramelised sugars, toffee, booze, woody, light whisky notes, more sugars. Fullish bodied with fine carbonation, sweet finish with a touch of booze. Decent stuff but overall a little too sweet for me, balance needs a tweak.
