Description
Nick - The Brewer
I confess...in my twenties I only drank coffee or Guinness. My education in craft beer began in 2003 when Fin and Loz moved next door. Visits together to breweries, pubs and beer loving friends all over Europe followed. For the next ten years we ran a beer festival in our home village of Merton in Oxfordshire.

Anna - The Crofter
I first came to Harris when I was two years old. My Uncle & Aunt were renovating a croft house in the Bays of Harris. It was very different from life in Oxfordshire but I loved it. In 2014 we moved to the island with our family and four years later settled at Croft N°6 in Borrisdale overlooking the Sound of Harris.

Spud - The Boss
Spud is the youngest member of the Isle of Harris Brewery team but he quickly rose through the ranks to become Managing Director.

In the company of Nick, Anna and all the friends and workers, Friday 29th March 2024 at the opening night of the new brewery and restaurant. Pours reddish amber with a slight haze, there is a subtle spice touch maybe some cinnamon and nutmeg, light hoppy bitter bite, a little sweetness. Not a huge fan of pumpkin beers but this is pretty good.

Bottle at Ratebeer München Tasting Tuesday 31st January 2023. Pours almost black with a nice light beige head, very soft moutheel, fruitiness but not necessarily picking up fig, a little cola, a little spice, maybe it's cinnamon as I get a gentle numbing touch which I usually get with cinnamon, some dried fruit. Good. Cheers Mr Nicolai for bringing this one over last week.
