Description
The LHG Brewpub is an independent brewery and bar in the centre of Bristol.
We opened the doors to our brewpub on 13th June 2019, with the aim to create a beating heart at the centre of our business. A place for us to engage and interact with the people who drink our beer, and shorten the distance between production and glass. Our Brewpub was crowdfunded, with 1500 people investing in our small company. We are incredibly proud to be the custodians of a site that has over 250 years of brewing history within its walls.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Clear golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of green pepper and melon rind. Flavour of lime jelly and cracker. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Clean and hoppy.

440ml can. Can't beat a lager during a heatwave!
Clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, passionfruit, dank herbs. Taste is quite dank, herbal, passionfruit, zesty orange and grapefruit, moderate hoppy bitterness. Very crisp, clean, medium bodied and good carbonation. Cracking stuff. Comfortably among the best hoppy lagers I've had.

Cask at LHG Brewpub, Bristol on 13th May 2026. Almost impenetrably black with light brown foam and scant lacing. Earthy roast malt aroma. Coffee roastiness in-mouth and a finish of more coffee and hints of dark chocolate. Light bodied with a smooth texture.

Good stuff overall. Interesting character. Decent roast, little ash, cocoa, raisin, twangy dark berries, little dirt, old tyres. The condition ain’t bad. Pleasantly rounded.

440ml can from Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy, light citrus. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, dry, woodg hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Aromas of raspberry jam, red grape, strawberry, cherries. Taste is a tart salty mix of the above. Sour sherbety aftertaste.
