We opened the doors to our brewpub on 13th June 2019, with the aim to create a beating heart at the centre of our business. A place for us to engage and interact with the people who drink our beer, and shorten the distance between production and glass. Our Brewpub was crowdfunded, with 1500 people investing in our small company. We are incredibly proud to be the custodians of a site that has over 250 years of brewing history within its walls.

Keg at the Rake, 06/11/19. Hazed light golden yellow with a big old white cap that stays for the show. Nose is melon, juicy citric peel, grass, airy malts, tangerine. Taste comprises melon, light orange pith, grass, splash of grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking sessioner.

Keg at the Experiment - Hackney. Pours hazy orange-gold with a big, frothy, pure white head. Good stuff, with nice fresh citrus along with lightly bitter pine, orange rind, mellow chalky accents. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly drying in the finish, with more citrus rind, subtle pine, dried pale malts, touches of peach. Sound.

Keg at the Experiment - Hackney. Pours totally clear gold with a small, creamy white head. Clean, dry biscuit character, with light bitter straw, nips of cereal, grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, with soft grassy bitterness, nips of crunchy hay, light bready biscuits. Solid. Highly drinkable.

On tap @Mikkeller bar Warsaw. Golden hay pretty clear color, tick and frothy white foam. Nose: hoppy aroma on a regular basic lager, bit floral. Mouth: quite balanced, it stays soft in the mouth and bit malty. Mild bitterness. Not a thrill but decent.

On tap at the Small Bar, Bristol 15/9/2019. Hazy gold, with a tight, white, head. Big and pleasant aroma of sweet, tangerine, fruits, mango, and grassy hops. Flavour had a fruit salad mix of both citrus and tropical, followed by a suggestion of biscuity malts and a gently dry finish, with some lingering alcohol and hops in the background. Enjoyable.
