Description
The brewing industry in Grünbach has been documented since the early 18th century with the brewing law of 1723. After an eventful history, Herman Noll took over the brewery under the name of Schloßbrauerei Grünbach. In 1990 son Alexander took over the brewery in the third generation. After the year 2000 Alexander Noll started to look for a partner in order to be able to cope with the challenges of the beer market and also recognize the potential of the brewery in order to be able to continue investing in brand revitalization and expansion together. In 2013 this partner was found in the Arco-Bräu in Moos.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Cloudy golden yellow, huge white head. Yeasty, wheaty with a fruity touch, hints of banana and peach. Not as fruity as some trendy and modern Weizen - quite classic and traditional.

Hazy orange, rather pale for a dunkel. Frothy, unstable offwhite head. Yeasty aroma with banana notes. Flavour is light spicy, estery, sweetish, candy. Dry finish and refreshing carb. OK but not particularly exciting.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts mild, malty-yeasty, not too roasty. Light notes of chocolate. Finish well balanced, soft-malty, still fine yeasty. Not bad!
